gsfonts-x11 software package provides Make Ghostscript fonts available to X11, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gsfonts-x11
gsfonts-x11 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gsfonts-x11 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gsfonts-x11 *
You will get with gsfonts-x11 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
